The US military has redirected the routes of 18 commercial vessels following the reinstatement of a naval blockade against Iranian ports.
According to sea-news.az that the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated this on its “X” social media account.
According to the information, as of July 28, CENTCOM has redirected 18 commercial ships to alternative routes, rendered 2 ships inactive, and landed troops on 2 more vessels to ensure the full enforcement of the blockade.
Command representatives noted that more than 20 US naval vessels are currently involved in operations in the Middle East region. To recall, the United States reinstated the naval blockade against Iran on July 14.
