The US’s European allies are refusing to participate in joint patrols in the Strait of Hormuz until military operations between Washington and Tehran are suspended.

According to the information, although US and British officials plan to hold a joint conference in London to maintain security in the Strait of Hormuz, sources state that no serious progress is expected. This stance of the European allies is linked to Washington’s failure to give prior warning before launching military operations against Iran and the weakness of the partnership approach in risky naval missions.
