85 irregular migrants have been detained off the coast of Turkeys Izmir province.
According to sea-news.az that the Turkish Coast Guard Command released information about this.
Two boats were detected at sea with the support of a mobile coastal surveillance system and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operating in the region. During the operation, 53 people, including 11 children, were detained on one of the boats, and 32 people on the other.
In addition, 4 suspects involved in migrant smuggling were also captured. The irregular migrants were handed over to the Migration Directorate after the completion of necessary procedures.
