A meeting has been held with sailing athletes and parents
According to sea-news.az that a meeting with athletes of the sailing section and their parents was organized at the administrative building of the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation.
At the opening of the event, Farhad Aliyev, Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation, greeted the participants. During his speech, Farhad Aliyev spoke about the role of water sports in shaping a healthy lifestyle, the prospects for the development of sailing, as well as the future plans and projects of the federation.
In turn, Burcu Algon, a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, informed the participants of the meeting about sailing. She provided information about the results of our athletes in international competitions and the purpose of the event.
During the event, federation staff, as well as the newly joined coaching staff for sailing—head coach Gürbüz Arıkan and coach Aysun Atay Arıkan—were introduced to the parents.
The meeting continued with interactive discussions. The proposals and opinions of parents and federation staff were heard, and an exchange of views took place regarding the development of sailing, the organization of the training process, raising the preparation level of athletes, and action plans for the upcoming period.
