A rowing event has been held in Gazakh, which was chosen as the sports capital of Azerbaijan, co-organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation.
According to sea-news.az that demonstration performances in kayak and canoe boats took place at the water basin located in the territory of Heydar Aliyev Park.
Following this, professional coaches conducted training sessions for local residents interested in water sports on operating amateur kayaks. They were given the opportunity to test themselves in the sport of rowing.
The event was met with great interest by the local community.
It should be noted that the federation plans to regularly hold such events in various regions in order to expand the geography of water sports in our country and reach a wider mass.
