The US company “ReconCraft” will begin the production of Ukrainian-made “Magura” uncrewed surface vessels.

According to the report, a cooperation agreement has been signed between Portland-based “ReconCraft,” which specializes in the manufacturing of special operations boats, and Ukraine’s “Uforce” company. The contract was concluded last week at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington.

According to Joe Silkovsky, co-founder of “ReconCraft,” the company plans to produce hundreds, or even thousands, of uncrewed boats annually in the future. The financial value of the agreement has not been disclosed.

The publication notes that the US Department of Defense intends to allocate tens of billions of dollars to the development of combat systems in the coming years.
