The creation of flexible working time models in Azerbaijan, based on international experience, is planned.
According to sea-news.az that this is reflected in the “Action Plan for the Implementation of the Employment Strategy for 2026–2030,” approved by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the document, measures in this direction will be implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, together with the Ministry of Economy, during the years 2026–2030.
In the initial stage, international experience regarding the application of flexible work models will be studied. In the subsequent stage, draft normative legal acts to regulate this area will be prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities.
According to the Action Plan, a flexible working time regime will be implemented in Azerbaijan as a result of the work to be carried out.
