The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has announced the detention of four ships that attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without permission.
According to sea-news.az that the Fars agency released this information, citing a statement from the IRGC.
It was reported that over the last few hours, four ships attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz with the support of the U.S. military. The vessels were stopped as a result of an operation involving missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
It should be noted that prior to this, the IRGC had announced that two oil tankers had exploded and caught fire while attempting to navigate a mined route in the Strait of Hormuz.
