The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has conducted an exercise on “Ensuring the safety of people in water basins” on the Caspian Sea coast in Lankaran.
According to sea-news.az that the main purpose of the exercise was to further improve the practical skills of rescuers in conducting rescue operations related to drowning incidents, as well as providing first aid.
In the exercise, which involved employees of the MES Southern Regional Center, the “South” diving-search group of the State Service for Control over Small Ships and Water Rescue, the “N” military unit of the Special Risky Rescue Service, and the Southern regional department of the State Border Service Coast Guard, rescuers saved “victims” during a simulated drowning incident, provided first aid, and “handed them over to the appropriate authorities.”
Following the successful completion of the exercise, the results were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
