Despite repeated warnings, it is noted with regret that Azerbaijani citizens continue to operate in various conflict zones and high-risk areas, leading to incidents involving fatalities or injuries of varying severity.
According to sea-news.az that these statements were included in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement further reads: “In particular, the security situation in the Black Sea basin remains extremely sensitive due to ongoing military operations, existing threats to civilian shipping, and the use of drones, missiles, and other weaponry. Considering the geography and intensity of military operations, the risks to civilian vessels and their crew members have increased significantly.
In this context, we once again urge Azerbaijani citizens to refrain from traveling to regions where military operations are ongoing or the security situation is unstable, from engaging in labor activities in those areas, or from working on vehicles operating along these routes, including sea vessels.
Furthermore, we recommend strictly adhering to official warnings and, in case of necessity, maintaining contact with the diplomatic missions and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
