A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Chief Transport Prosecutors Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU).
According to sea-news.az that the document lays the foundation for a long-term partnership aimed at combining the prosecutor’s office’s practical experience with the universitys scientific expertise.
In this bilateral cooperation, special attention will be paid to utilizing the capabilities of KBTU, the only specialized educational institution in Central Asia that trains internationally recognized specialists for the maritime sector.
KBTU is planned to actively participate in resolving issues related to navigation safety, water transport operations, and the development of port infrastructure, as well as in preparing proposals for the improvement of national legislation.
The Chief Transport Prosecutor’s Office noted that effective operation of law enforcement agencies is not possible today without integration with the scientific community. This is particularly relevant considering the active expansion of international logistics corridors and Kazakhstan’s growing role in the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).
