In the first half of 2026 (January–June), nearly 61,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of containerized cargo were handled at the Baku International Sea Trade Port by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).

It was noted that this figure is approximately 15% higher compared to the same period last year. During the reporting period, a total of more than 4 million tons of cargo was handled at the port, marking an increase of over 4% compared to the same period last year.
