A meeting was held at ASCO, part of the AZCON Holding companies, with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
According to sea-news.az citing seanews.az, that the guests were provided with detailed information regarding ASCO’s strategic development priorities, including goals to further increase transport efficiency, expand the fleet with new vessels, and extend operations beyond the Caspian Sea.
During the meeting, projects currently being implemented and those planned for the future in the areas of digitalization, the application of innovative solutions, and corporate governance approaches aligned with modern challenges were highlighted.
During the discussions, the parties positively evaluated the current state of cooperation and reviewed potential partnership opportunities in areas of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, the EBRD representatives visited the “Surakhani” ship-museum. After becoming closely acquainted with the museum’s exhibition halls, the guests were provided with detailed information about Azerbaijan’s maritime history and seafaring traditions.
