Iranian state television has reported that a liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker was struck while passing through the Strait of Hormuz. It was noted that the ship’s crew disregarded warnings issued by the Iranian side.

According to sea-news.az that no further details regarding the incident have been disclosed.

It should be recalled that the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced earlier this morning that a tanker sailing near the coast of Oman had been struck by an unidentified projectile.
