There is a possibility of creating a voluntary payment fund for the Strait of Hormuz.
According to sea-news.az this was stated by Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
“Negotiations have been held with the Omani authorities regarding the management of the Strait of Hormuz,” he noted.
According to A. Dominguez, the negotiations regarding the Strait are being conducted with the aim of finding solutions to the post-war crisis between the U.S. and Iran.
