Iran has declared its readiness for dialogue and cooperation with Gulf countries to ensure security in the region.
According to sea-news.az Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated this during his official meetings in Baghdad.
According to the minister, Tehran supports the creation of a collective security mechanism based on principles of mutual trust and consensus, free from foreign military intervention.
Araghchi also noted that Iran will remain committed to its obligations regarding the Strait of Hormuz and will continue cooperation and dialogue with Oman and other regional countries.
