Starting from June 15, the beach season has been officially declared open in Azerbaijan.

According to sea-news.az all official beaches across the country are now available for use by citizens and tourists.

Relevant state authorities have completed necessary preparations and cleaning works to ensure a comfortable and safe seaside holiday for those wishing to spend their summer vacation by the sea.

To protect public health and safety, stations of the State Service for Control of Small Vessels and Rescue Operations in Water Basins under the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) have begun operating along beach areas. Experts emphasize that, in order to prevent accidents, only officially designated beaches supervised by lifeguards should be used.

At the same time, the State Control Service for the Use and Protection of Water Resources under the State Water Resources Agency has submitted seawater samples to the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health. Monitoring activities have also begun across beaches nationwide in connection with the season.

Authorities remind citizens that maintaining cleanliness, observing safety rules, and respecting warning signs are essential. Visitors are urged not to litter, to follow restrictions, and to avoid entering the sea during unstable weather conditions.

The beach season will traditionally continue until mid-September, during which control and safety measures will remain in effect across recreational zones.
