A commercial vessel was attacked with an RPG (rocket-propelled grenade launcher) approximately 111 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen.
According to sea-news.az the information was released by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
Reports indicate that a small boat carrying four armed individuals approached the vessel and opened fire. The incident occurred just hours after another cargo ship was reportedly targeted near the Yemeni coast.
UKMTO stated that an investigation has been launched into the incident, and efforts are underway to determine the details of the attack and identify those responsible.
