Personnel of the Kazakhstan Navy have carried out a series of combat training tasks related to ship handling and maritime security in the central part of the Caspian Sea.

According to sea-news.az naval servicemen performed their duties as part of watchkeeping operations and strengthened their ability to independently maintain navigation watches.

“These activities are aimed at improving professional competence, navigation skills, and the organization of naval service,” said Senior Lieutenant Asylbek Orazbayev, commander of the navigation combat unit aboard the missile and artillery ship Oral.

Special attention was given to studying the characteristics of the maritime operational environment, the practical application of navigation methods, route planning under changing conditions, and course adjustment procedures.

The practical exercises were conducted under conditions designed to be as close as possible to real combat operations.

Navigation training is considered a key component of combat readiness for naval specialists. It helps maintain a high level of preparedness among personnel, enables the effective execution of maritime border protection missions, and contributes to strengthening the overall combat capabilities of the Kazakhstan Navy.
