Nineteen Azerbaijani citizens who were crew members of ships damaged during drone attacks in the Azov Sea on June 5 have been sent back to Azerbaijan.
According to sea-news.az this was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was stated that the individuals are expected to arrive in Azerbaijan around midday on June 9.
Search and rescue operations have led to the recovery of the bodies of Qismat Aliyev (born 1969) and Fuad Orucov (born 1981).
It was also noted that, following the completion of relevant procedures, the bodies of four deceased Azerbaijani citizens, along with two individuals remaining in the city of Yeysk to accompany them, are expected to be repatriated in the coming days.
