The captain of the “Tagor” tanker, identified as part of the so-called “shadow fleet” and detained by French military forces, has been arrested.
According to sea-news.az that the captain, a Russian citizen, could face up to one year in prison and a fine of up to €150,000.
In addition, the vessel may be confiscated as part of the investigation. The tanker, which is currently anchored in the Bay of Douarnenez, will remain detained until the investigation is completed.
