The United States has seized an oil tanker in the Indian Ocean that is allegedly connected to Iran.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the vessel in question is the “Skywave” tanker, which was added to the U.S. sanctions list in March. Reports indicate that the ship was located near the western coast of Malaysia on Tuesday.
According to the report, this is the third oil tanker seized by the United States since the beginning of the confrontation related to Iran. Earlier in April, the tankers “Majestic X” and “Tiffany” were also detained by U.S. authorities.
