In April this year, a high-resolution 2D seismic survey was successfully carried out as part of the Ashrafi–Dan Ulduzu–Aypara (ADUA) project.
The studies were conducted in the Caspian Sea at water depths of approximately 20–40 meters. The main objective of the project is to collect detailed information on geological formations down to a depth of around 1,500 meters and to support the planning of future exploration wells.
It is reported that the acquired data will contribute to a more accurate assessment of the region’s geological potential and support the efficient planning of future energy projects.
