A fuel leak has been detected on the tanker M.V. Barakah, owned by an Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) logistics subsidiary, following an alleged Iranian drone attack in Omani waters.

The vessel reportedly came under strike by Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles on May 4 and has since remained anchored near the Omani coast.

A company representative stated that a minor leak of bunker fuel was confirmed after the incident, although the estimated volume has not been disclosed.

The situation is said to be under control, with ongoing coordination between relevant government authorities and emergency response teams.
