Kazakhstan Navy vessels prepared for summer operational season

66

The preparation of vessels belonging to the Naval Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the upcoming summer operational period in the Caspian Sea is nearing completion.

As part of the preparation process, a series of comprehensive measures have been carried out to ensure reliable vessel performance under summer conditions. The hulls, portholes, and hatches were inspected for watertight integrity, while deck mechanisms were cleaned and lubricated. Artillery systems and small-caliber weapon installations were cleaned and placed into conservation mode.

The summer readiness program covers all types of vessels, including missile-artillery ships, patrol and landing craft, as well as hydrographic vessels. At the same time, inspections of mooring, anchoring, and deck equipment were conducted.

Special attention has been given to personnel training. Ship crews have been provided with summer uniforms.

The Kazakhstan Navy continues to carry out its core missions in full scope — ensuring security in Kazakhstan’s sector of the Caspian Sea and maintaining a stable operational environment.
