Iran has announced its readiness to provide support to commercial vessels operating in the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement was delivered through an official notice sent by Iranian authorities to the captains of merchant ships.
According to the notice, vessels may receive technical assistance, as well as medical and sanitary support, at ports of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement added that the services are intended to support safe navigation and provide humanitarian assistance in the region.
