A tanker has reportedly come under an unidentified attack near the Strait of Hormuz, off the coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the incident occurred approximately 78 nautical miles (125.9 km) north of UAE territorial waters.
Preliminary information suggests that the vessel was struck by unidentified projectiles.
Authorities confirmed that the crew remains safe and no environmental damage has been reported. Further investigations into the incident are currently underway.
