Over 36 million tons of cargo exported thorugh sea corridor of Ukraine since August 2023

More than 36 million tons of cargo have been exported through the Ukrainian Sea Corridor since August 2023, Report informs, citing the local press.

According to the Minister of Communities, Territories, and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, Alexander Kubrakov, a record volume of 195,700 tons of cargo have been exported from Yuzhny port by the ship Captain Leonidas, which is 300 meters in length, 50 meters in width, and has a capacity of 203,000 tons, sailing under the flag of Panama.

The minister added that since August 2023, more than 36 million tons of cargo have been transported through the sea corridor of Ukraine. This is more than the volume of cargo transported during the one-year Grain initiative.
