CMS representatives attended the Marine Safety Forum which was held in BDJF BP office on 7th of June 2023. Major companies in oil&gas and supporting sectors were present at the event. During the session which was interactive meeting participants were encouraged to bring their thought to the table on the following topics:
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) at the workplace. What tools the front-line supervision must manage the DE&I at the workplace.
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) classification for Life Changing Injuries. How has it been integrated into the contractor’s reporting and risk assessment processes, i.e., has it been included into Risk matrixes? Is it understood by the people performing risk assessments? How did the contractors share this information?
CMS representatives presented the company’s stand on DE&I matter by displaying some statistics. The Company’s adherence to its core values – Integrity, Trust and Teamwork – which resonate with the concepts of diversity, equality and inclusion was stated one more time.
