CMS has started testing special fuel emulsifiers and conditioners developed by SulNOx Group. The objective is to reduce fuel consumption and emissions in the fleet. If the tests are successful, the new products are expected to have a positive effect on reducing emission exports on the vessels and substantially saving on fuel and other costs. Azerbaijan has committed to climate change mitigation and adaptation measures announced at COP27.
Through using SulNOx products, CMS is thus demonstrating to partners and customers the company’s willingness to achieve environmental stability at both local and national levels as a part of this commitment. Critical decarbonisation measures are key for improving the technical and operational efficiency in shipping industry.
