Position: QHSE Coordinator
Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management.
- Maintain relevant QHSE logs
- Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare applicable QHSE reports as necessary
- Help and advice on QHSE issues to make recommendations to facility management
- Participate in detailed incident investigations and promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors
- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant QHSE training
- Observe QHSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working
- practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all NOV Company and QHSE policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Engineering or equivalent technical degree (essential)
- HSE certificates – NEBOSH or IOSH (essential)
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of HSE experience within the oil & gas industry (essential)
- Experience developing, writing and modifying procedures (desirable)
- Audit experience along with root cause and corrective action (desirable)
SKILL, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001, or OHSAS18001 experience (desirable)
- Experience driving accident prevention programs and involving the entire workforce in a safety cantered team environment (desirable)
- English – written and verbal (desirable)
