President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on measures to improve management in the field of maritime transport.
Report informs that the decree rules on creating a public legal entity ‘State Maritime and Port Agency’ under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The decision aims to improve the management, regulation, and control mechanisms in the field of maritime transport, to optimize the work carried out in this area, and state regulation of seaports and form a competitive maritime transport.
