Job Title: Piping Discipline Lead
Principal Accountabilities:
- Assigning man power both in number and experience to contracts, proposals or other task as required;
- The overall operation of the Piping Discipline and the high quality and timely completion of their works within the established man-hour budget and schedule;
- Developing, improving, approving and distributing of new standards, work procedures and whichever instruction governing the performance and quality of work in the Piping Discipline;
- Exchanging experience with worldwide WOOD Offices for new Design and Drafting technique;
- Continues monitoring of project execution and performance of the discipline;
- Preparation revision and issue of the Discipline Work Instructions;
- Issuing, revising and distributing of all Discipline Guidelines;
- Preparation and revision of the Discipline Work Procedure upon approval of QAS Manager;
- Performing the necessary Internal Systematic verifications and Implementing the Corrective Action in accordance with WI-SC-QAS112;
- Supporting PM in the evaluation of Criticality Rating Item List and in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan;
- Ensuring that any Subcontracted Service of the discipline is subjected to the appropriate QA clauses and procedures;
- Performing an analysis of feedback from Clients, field and any project lesson learnt;
- Defining together with Company Management a training plan for the Piping Discipline team; organize internal training to ensure the personnel professional growth, in line with the defined training plans;
- Preparing the Mid-Year / End-of-Year Performance Evaluation of the Piping Discipline personnel;
- Assuring the implementation, within his own activities, of the applicable laws and standards requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment during the engineering phase;
- Implementing the instructions regarding Health, Safety and Environmental aspects indicated by the appointed functions;
- Supervising that Piping Discipline personnel respect the applicable HSE requirements, with particular regard to their health and safety care during the activities developed in home office; instructing properly (according to the relevant procedure) the personnel that will work out of the home office.
Skills & Requirements:
- University Degree in related Engineering Discipline;
- 15 years progressive experience in the petrochemical or related industries;
- Extensive experience in a similar position within Oil and Gas sector;
- Functional management, leadership and teambuilding skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills and time management.
