Position title: Construction Manager (Vessel)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Works closely with the execution Team Leads / Construction Managers to resolve conflicts in the overall interest of the MSS program delivery
- Assist the Regional Manager in the execution and delivery of scopes in the region
- Responsible with integration of demand and activities
- Co-ordinate team integration and team alignment across the delivery groups
- Manage the offshore integrated schedule and find synergies across delivery groups
- Promote, demonstrate and ensure compliance with all appropriate elements, Operating Management System (OMS), including Risk Management and Management of Change
- Manage all the vessel activity
- Manages the interfaces with Global Subsea Hardware group
- Build and lead a high performance team to facilitate successful delivery of the offshore execution
- Responsible for ensuring the installation contractor delivers a competent organisation and a high standard of resources to successfully execute the work
Qualifications:
• Offshore Engineering degree (Bachelor of Science)
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience of engineering management involving subsea architecture and Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
- Experience with design safety of offshore installations
- Proactively demonstrates sophisticated decision-making and leadership skills needed to address complex stakeholder groups and issues associated with Major Projects
- A high level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills
