Position name: Project Control Advisor  

Reports to: Project Control under Development Director

Job requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master degree. Relevant working experience may qualify
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience from Joint Ventures and international projects
  • Commercial mindset and strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication-, and collaboration skills
  • Proven leadership experience
  • The ability to work in a multicultural environment and demonstrate respect for local norms and customs of behavior
  • Act as a role model for our values, safety and security expectations
  • Experience in driving change processes
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Project Control systems
  • Experience with Project Control on a Business Case level including but not limited to Facilities, Subsurface, Drilling, Operation and Management

The main responsibilities tasks and deliveries are, but not limited to;

  • Responsibility for the cost and time management of the project
  • Implement and maintenance of a total wbs structure for the Project
  • Establish and implementation of relevant systems and tools
  • Establishment and maintenance of project execution plan including control schedules for project management supervision
  • Perform funding, budgeting, and cost forecasting and reporting on behalf of the project
  • Coordinate all invoice processing and approvals on behalf of the project team
  • Coordinate the monthly reporting on behalf of the project
  • Collaborate across the functions and contribute to an inclusive working environment
  • Secure project control involvement in Contract Evaluation and responsible for preparation of relevant Contract documents. Take an active role in preparation of the Contract Appendixes B, C and D
  • Responsible for implementation of a Project Change process
  • Total overview of the Project on different levels and report on aggregated as well as detailed levels
  • Establish and update the Project Control Basis for the Project
  • Coordinate the development and update of the Manpower Projection Plan (MPP)
  • Deliverence of estimates for the Project
  • Identify and follow-up target cost as part of the project’s improvement agenda
  • Perform benchmarking at decision gates including IPA and also facilitate Project risks sessions for Schedule and Forecast when needed
