Owned by the Greek shipping company Kyklades Maritime Company, 3 aframax type tankers with a crude oil carrying capacity of 115,000 DWT were sold to the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR.

According to the information obtained by the Maritime News Agency, M / T NISSOS SCHINOUSSA, M / T NISSOS, which was built in the South Korean Hyundai Heavy Industries Gunsan shipyard in 2015, is 252 meters long, 45 meters wide and has a crude oil carrying capacity of 115 thousand DWT. The tankers THERASSIA and M / T NISSOS HERACLEA were sold to the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR for a total of $ 120 million, each for $ 40 million.

It was learned that the purchased tankers will be delivered to SOCAR’s shipping company in the third quarter of this year, and the Azerbaijani flag will be hoisted on the ships and their names will bear the names of the senior commanders who were martyred in the second Karabakh War.
