Position: General Field Engineer

Minimum 6 to 7 years related field experience.

Degree qualified/Graduate Petroleum Engineering/Masters

General Field Engineer:

Responsible for Job Preparation, planning and execution of the most of Client/Company’s completions on the ACG development, related to lower Completions and interventions activities. Role is primarily on shore during Job Preparation phase and offshore during job Engineering/Execution as required. The position reports to the Company’s Completions Field Service Manager and is also accountable to the ACG Snr. Completions Engineer. Participate in Pre-Job Meetings onshore/ offshore as they are relate to Schlumberger Lower Completion. When offshore participate in all day/night shift meetings to be conducted with BP. Responsible for the design updates and successful engineering execution. Assure all technical aspects of tool string configuration, procedures, etc. with respect to lower completion operations. Be involved with Schlumberger Lower Completion Operations. Be involved with Company’s Lower Completion team to assure all onshore tool/equipment testing and equipment integrity issues. Perform the job in accordance with the lower completion objectives are met. Review and optimise completion installation procedures. Responsible for preparing and completing the relevant supporting documentation as it relates to Pre Job Engineering Report. (T&D, Gravel pack calc, FIV N2 Calc, etc). Workstring and washpipes gauge data collection. EOWR (End of well report). Service Quality issue follow up. Provide supervision, mentoring, training and development of national and expatriate SLB staff, as required. Promote Learning with Client’s Engineers to ensure that operational procedures, programmes and practices are amended as appropiate. Support completion equipment qualification process. (Equipment review, yard trials, stack up test, etc) by providing detailed reports of any activities widnessed/conducted.
