The coke, produced at the Heydar Aliyev Refinery of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), is already being exported to the People’s Republic of China, Report says, referring to a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), ADY Express LLC.
A subsidiary company transports this cargo to the Georgian port of Poti.
The coke, loaded into semi-wagons at Keshla station, is transported to Poti port, where it is loaded on ships and delivered to the destination country by sea.
Initially, it is planned to transport 27,000 tons of coke for November-December 2020, while 15,742 tons of cargo have already been delivered by 245 wagons. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and ADY Express LLC supply wagons.
It is expected to transport this type of cargo from Azerbaijan to China.
