ADY Express launches transportation of new cargos in export mode

ADY Express LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways, has started transporting new types of cargo in export mode, LLC told Report.

Several innovations have been introduced in the implementation of the next project to increase the export potential of Azerbaijan. The changes apply to both the type of cargo and the chosen route.

This time, ADY Express transported polypropylene goods produced by SOCAR POLYMER LLC to Kazakhstan. Unlike previous shipments, the route did not pass through the Caspian Sea, but by way of Russia. Thus, the covered wagons provided by ADY Express were loaded at Sumgayit station and delivered by rail to Almaty and Kokshetau, Kazakhstan. The main advantages of the new route were the speed and mode of transport.

The first batch of cargo transported in test mode was delivered to the destination. The successful transport process has ensured that the project will be sustainable.
