Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Prime Minister Myratgeldi Meredov to pay more attention to issues of increasing oil and gas production and processing, trying to attract more foreign investment in this area.The Turkmen leader noted that since the Caspian region is turning into one of the key centers of geopolitical and geoeconomic processes, a global transit hub is actively forming on its territory.
According to the head of state, for this reason, the government should develop optimal logistics routes as soon as possible in accordance with the transport strategy of Turkmenistan.
Summing up, Berdymukhamedov pointed out to Meredov the need to maximize the opportunities of the Turkmenbashi port for exporting products of enterprises of the Turkmen oil and gas industry
