The captain of a Russian ship flying the flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Valery Cherkesov, was found dead in Turkey, Trend reports Jan. 7 with reference to Turkish media.
Cherkesov’s body was found in the captain’s cabin. The crew also reported to the Turkish Coast Guard Command about the incident
A criminal case was launched, investigation is underway.
