A significant portion of the talks held with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan focused on finding pathways to unblock the Black Sea.
Sea-news.az reports citing “Ukrinform”, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in a press address in Istanbul.
“Turkey consistently supports our steps to safeguard sovereignty and territorial integrity, ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea, and restore normal life across the Black Sea region. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and I discussed a range of ideas and proposals aimed at achieving these objectives,” Zelenskyy stated.
He noted that an agreement was reached with the Turkish President to continue joint efforts regarding the Black Sea “Grain Corridor.”
