The Royal Navy of Oman, in coordination with the Maritime Security Centre, has evacuated 25 crew members from the Panama-flagged merchant vessel RITI.
Sea-news.az reports this was stated in a post published on the X platform account of Oman’s Maritime Security Centre.
According to the statement, the vessel came under attack approximately 1.6 nautical miles off the coast of the Musandam Governorate, causing a fire to break out onboard.
The evacuated crew members were provided with necessary medical care.
