A fire broke out aboard the San Marino-flagged tanker “Wide Trader” in the Black Sea, approximately 13 nautical miles southeast of Sulina, Romania.
Sea-news.az reports citing the Agerpres news agency, the Romanian Naval Authority (ANR) confirmed that 12 people were on board the vessel.
Four crew members have been rescued, while search operations remain ongoing for the eight missing individuals. A search and rescue operation involving a helicopter and the SAR vessel “SAR Apollo” is currently underway at the scene.
