An oil tanker has been attacked while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Sea-news.az reports the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported the incident.
In its statement, UKMTO noted that the vessel’s captain reported a strike by an unknown projectile, which triggered a fire on board.
The crew is reported to be safe with no casualties. Information regarding the extent of the damage or potential environmental impact is not yet available.
