The US military destroyed 28 vessels in the Strait of Hormuz on the night of September 1.
Sea-news.az reports that this was stated by US President Donald Trump in an interview with Dan Patrick, host of the “Lt. Dan” podcast.
“Iran will never acquire a nuclear weapon. We currently control the Strait of Hormuz. Last night we destroyed 28 ships. They (Iran – ed.) are gaining nothing, and we are destroying their ships,” the US leader said.
It should be noted that on September 1, the US Armed Forces launched massive strikes against Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) stated that it had launched retaliatory strikes against US bases in the Middle East.
