The geography of global trade is expanding

Kazakhstan has launched a new export route to Great Britain via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor).

Sea-news.az reports that mineral fertilizer cargo departing from Ekibastuz is transported via the Kazakhstan–Caspian Sea–Azerbaijan–Georgia route by rail and maritime transport, and delivered from the ports of Poti and Batumi to the port of Felixstowe in Great Britain.

This successfully implemented shipment once again proves that the Middle Corridor is transforming into a strategic logistics route not only regionally, but also in terms of access to European markets. Azerbaijan, as one of the main transit links of this transport hub, earns important economic and logistical dividends from the growing cargo flow. The development of multimodal transport and the optimization of delivery times further increase the global competitiveness of the route.
