In the extraordinary presidential elections held on February 7, the youth also voted for a bright future. During the 44-day Patriotic War, every young Azerbaijani demonstrated to the whole world that they had become a triumphant soldier under the command of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Our historic lands, which had remained under Armenian occupation for nearly 30 years, were liberated by our valiant Army under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev.
As the honorable President emphasized, it was precisely the patriotic youth in our country who participated in this sacred war with heart and soul. Our martyrs are sacred to us, and our veterans are our crown of honor. Thanks to these heroes, the Motherland has become whole. Through their heroism, our youth changed the way the Azerbaijani people are perceived. The occupation ended, and the concept of a “defeated country” was consigned to history. The youth policy based on the strategy of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and its elevation to more pragmatic heights by the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, fulfilled this historic mission.
Today, Azerbaijan is a victorious country on the regional and global stage. For the first time since the historic Victory, elections will be held throughout the entire territory of Azerbaijan. As the President emphasized, the holding of extraordinary presidential elections against the backdrop of full restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty is of historic importance.
Naturally, Azerbaijan has set even greater goals after the Victory. Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, a victorious and strong Azerbaijan will achieve even more magnificent successes in the future. Always loyal to the right path, the youth of Azerbaijan will express their unequivocal support for the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief for the sake of a victorious Azerbaijan in the presidential elections to be held on February 7.
Rapid development has been achieved in all spheres in Azerbaijan. As a result of the multifaceted activities of President Ilham Aliyev, a healthy, modern, and patriotic generation has been formed in our country. The youth, who grew up during the presidency of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, demonstrated bravery and heroism in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The presidential elections held on February 7 resulted in the victory of the Conqueror of Karabakh, the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, who proudly raised our glorious flag in Khankendi, Khojaly, Khojavend, and our other territories.
Our state and people are certain that, as always, the youth stood with President Ilham Aliyev this time as well. This is because the youth have infinite faith that, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan will achieve even greater successes and magnificent results in the future.
