Mohammad Ilham oghlu Aliyev, a first mate who lost his life in a drone attack on a cargo vessel in the Azov Sea, has been laid to rest.
According to sea-news.az citing APA, the body of the 29-year-old seafarer was brought to his native village of Ashagi Tala in the Zagatala District.
A farewell ceremony was held in his honor, attended by family members, relatives, friends, and local residents.
Following the ceremony, Mohammad Aliyev was buried in the cemetery of his native village.
