To date, U.S. Armed Forces have redirected 75 commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz as part of a naval blockade of Iranian ports, while also disabling four ships, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on the social media platform X.
The statement also noted that an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter is conducting aerial surveillance over the Arabian Sea.
It added that the helicopter launched from the USS Rafael Peralta (DDG-115) destroyer as part of ongoing patrol operations in support of enforcement measures related to the maritime blockade of Iran.
